APPLICATION AREA
Concrete, sand-cement and metal surface priming before application of welded and self-adhesive roofing and waterproofing rolled bitumen materials, and before application of mastics
APPLICATION METHOD
Application of bitumen primer is carried out with a brush, a paint roller or by spraying at the ambient temperature that varies from -5°С to +45°С. At the temperature that is lower than +5ºС, primer should be conditioned in a warm space for 24 hours at the temperature of no lower than +15ºС.
Before use, the whole volume of primer of the bitumen should be thoroughly mixed. If necessary, it can be diluted with white spirit, kerosene oil or solvent petroleum spirit. The working surface should be dry, pre-cleaned from dust, dirt, snow and ice.
Application of rolled materials and mastics is allowed only after primer is fully dried. It is important to wear gloves when working with the materials. Contact of the materials with eyes and skin is to be avoided.
